  • Best internet radio app….
  • …for Windows 8.1?

Currently sat listening to 6 Music via App Radio – are there any better ‘apps’ out there? Not that there seems anything particularly wrong with this one.

One feature I’d like I suppose – I’m registered with Absolute Radio, so when I listen on my phone/older PC and sign in, I get better quality & less adverts – to do this via a multi-station app would be good. Obviously, I can just go to Ab Radio on this device too

Tune-in is pretty good on iphone, presumably available on other platforms too.

If there isn’t a tunein app for windows, it works pretty nicely thru the browser.

There probably is tho, considering there is already one for iOs and Android.

I used to use the BBC radio app on my phone, I found it very it or miss.

Tune-In, while becoming more and more bloated of late, still trounces the iPlayer radio app due to record/timeshift functions.

I use the BBC ap for BBC stations and the myTuner Radio UK app instead of Tune In as it’s a little bit less spy-ey
