Ive got a 705 and never use the maps, pretty crap I think (I have got the road one though)
I like to set goals for mileage and use it for running,I like the virtual partner as well but don’t like having something else to carry when running and I’ve got a few bikes with 50mm stems and hate it on the handle bars

So thinking of selling it and getting a garmin watch just not sure which one though, all the watches seem aimed at runners

Put it on the top tube.

The new 901 is a triathlon watch, it has all the functions of the garmin bike computers without the navigation function.

The old 305 Forerunner is quite good

As always, it depends how much you want to spend. 910XT and 310XT are aimed at multisport, hence have bike functionality. I’ve just bought a 910XT which is great (and has the advantage of a barometric altimeter for accurate ascent values), but it’s not cheap.

What about an edge500 think you can get a wrist band to wear it as a watch?
