    As above really. Hopefully going to get the go ahead from the quack soon to get back on the bike after operation to fix broken heel but won’t be able to use my usual SPDs.

    What’s the best fairly budget flat shoe and pedal combo?

    i use superstar nano on mtb. had them 2 years now still running like new,

    I’d have thought shimano Am41 shoes would work fairly well.

    They’re more low profile than 5tens so should work ok on road. Cheaper than most too.
    Nano flats are a good flat pedal…
