I'm looking for either '09/'10 or 2011 160mm Fox 36 Float RC2 (not Talas, not 1.5 steerer). I've had a pretty good search around and the cheapest I've found is around £750. Does anyone know of any deals I've overlooked? Many thanks in advance…

Can't help with your original question, but if it helps at all, if I was buying my 36s again, I wouldn't bother with the RC2, I'd just get the bog standard R.

Thanks for that. I'm using a 2010 RC2 at the moment and, if I know what a trail, or section of trail, is like, then I may make adjustments to my compression settings. You may be right that I would not miss them if they weren't there, but I don't think I'd want to take that chance. I suppose that the the 2011 RLC is a possibility, but I would like to retain compression adjustments.
