    Well why you asking then? You’ll get it cheaper on a German site, but it’s expensive to post back once it packs in, and as you said it was a gift….

    If you get one from Germany SRAM UK will honour the warranty as long as you can get a bike shop to send it back for you, which might cost you a couple of packets of biscuits 🙂
