  • Best deal for 29er XC forks?

Looking to build a spare 29er hardtail frame up, for occasional use in the Highlands. Frame I’m building to can accept tapered forks, would prefer normal dropouts (although the hubs are Hope so believe could convert to thru-axle if absolutely required).

Have had OK-ish luck with second-hand forks online, this time would like to get some new (or see below) forks. Any deals the group-mind can recommend, for either scenario:

    1) Cheap-ish 29er forks along lines of RS Reba RLT, to put onto new frame

    2) Move RS Reba RLT forks (existing) to new frame, then need some decent XC race-spec forks for existing frame

    Thoughts?

I’ve got some new unused Reba RL’s for sale (£255 posted); 100mm travel, uncut tapered steerer, 15mm axle. I bought them Sept last year to build up onto XC frame, but then injured my arm & shoulder, so build hasn’t happened – forks are boxed and unused. PM is in profile if you’re interested.

EDIT: sorry for the double post. Is it possible to delete posts on the forum? Can’t figure out how.
