If I can get fit again and I move up to Durham permanently I’ll be after a CX bike for riding locally and to work. What’s out there? Ideally I’m after carbon, good looks and discs.

I’ve seen PLanet X have something, but it’s a bit 80s looking in the paint department.

Did you see the Ti one they posted today – looked nice.
Otherwise there are lots and lots this year.

    What’s your budget?

The most expensive one is the best one, of course.

If you can’t get the most expensive then get the one I have. And in true STW fashion it doesn’t even meet your criteria – it is an alu frame.

Kinesis pro6 it is very nice though.

    Cube ones look nice.

It’s got a daft name, but the Pickenflick looks lovely, as AlexSimon says.

Winstanleys have Genesis Vapours for £699 non disc but a bargain!

So I’m going to ignore 2/3rds of your requirements and say the Ritchey Swiss Cross.

That Kinesis is lovely, if I can go over the grand mark that could be a winner.
