Which would you say is the nicest campsite in the Coniston area for a family.

Looking for:

Quiet
Clean showers

So far Hoathwaite is looking the most promising or am I missing a trick?

Does it have to be Coniston? I’ve stayed at the Hawkshead Hall campsite which was nice

Hoathwaite, just outside Coniston is basic but nice, quiet but leads down to the lake. Stayed there with my lad last year.
I beleive you can camp on Park coppice too which is a Caravan club site.
Then you have Coniston old hall which during summer holidays is more akin to Glastonbury….
