Fancy proper back street, deep down and dirty, cheap but awesome.
    Does it exist and where?

Sheereen Kadah (543 Moseley Rd) is the one we tend to head for. The only downside is that they tend to microwave things you might have as a starter, like samosas, and they get a bit chewy.

But the curries and naans are top class. And cheap.

Only a 15 minute walk from a few good pubs in Moseley, like Prince of Wales and Fighting Cocks.

I’ve not tried all the baltis in Brum, but I can recommend:
Kolkata lounge and Akram Kashmiri in Stirchley.
    Himalaya in Rednall
    Spice Menu in Weoley Castle

Milans, Newhall Street, lunchtime buffet is £6, it’s nice to eat, but a struggle working in the afternoon/cycling home.
