I’m taking part in a london to paris road cycle ride on 2 sept.

I have legs like a disjointed sparrow 🙂 so i’d like to wear tights and not shorts, any recommendations for all year round tights?

Don’t want to sweat my ars$ off when it’s warm but want to stay warm when it does get cold. I’m male by the way!

    help appreciated
    cheers

i only ever wear 3/4s from mid autumn to mid spring, never find i get too cold once on the move. they’ll be all you’ll need for september i reckon. i have endura ones, they’re nice and comfy.

Most 3/4 lengths I’ve come across are use roubaix style fleecy lining fabric. Sounds like you want just plain lycra 3/4ers or you’ll overheat. The only ones I’m aware of that are like this are these:

… though I’m sure if you invesigate there are others about. I have the roubaix version of these (Merstons) – they’re OK for the money, fit is a bit basic. Leg grippers not spectacular.
