Try taking pictures of it without the vertical angles all skewed to make it look more steep – will probably help your fear issues. 😛

compare the angle of the large rocks in the background, it’s a wild blasted moor, so the grass grows according to wind, not light

It’s a bit of cop out tbh, trail runs round behind the tree on the left of the pic, and then back around into shot again. Still difficult but not as good as the picture makes it look. The tricky bit was above where I am in the shot.
