Heading to BPW next weekend with my son. Anyone got any good recommendation’s for local accom options – the links from BPW website aren’t overly inspiring?

Simplest option is the Travelodge at Rhydycar. They’re happy for you to put bikes in the rooms (ask for a sheet if it’s muddy) and you’ve got the cinema and a few food options on the same park. Plus it’s a 2 minute pedal to BPW!

Premier inn in Aberdare is very good. Receptionist even washed and dried my cycle clothing:-)
