Thinking of getting one in the new year really like intense Tracer 29er and the new covert, but is there any better out there?

No idea how you’d go about determining if one was better than the other. Anyway, that Yeti SB-95 looks pretty special.

How so, its a one piece structure? I really doubt youd notice any increase in stiffness.

Why fudge? I weigh 19 stone and I can’t get mine to flex enough for me or anyone watching to notice (I have put a much stiffer AM/DH rear wheel in as I could get that to flex).
However they are not the most pretty bike, but I’m not looking at it when I’m riding it.

fwiw , i LOVE my nicolai helius AC 29er with 120mm of HL travel. stunning.

it’s the only bike I’ve ridden since getting it in Feb 2012.

The Intense Spider is a great bike. Its a fair bit lighter than the Tracer so I think it makes a great UK trail bike.

In true STW stylee i would recomend the LTc as it’s what i have.

I tried the Bandit 29 and the LTc and ended up going for the LTc.

Descends as well as my Nomad but is just so much better at everything else.

Just checked out the Intense Spider absolutley lovely and with easton tubeset, seems just as you say ron burgandy the good choice for uk
