    It fits 😀
Fractionally too thick but that’s easy enough to modify. Main thing is it fits the swingarm location perfectly..

    Looks very nice!

Just wondered if you would be worried about it being too strong? Did you select a grade of aluminium that would bend? break before the frame?

    Oh the memories… 🙂

I was looking at our new 5 axis Mazak the other day. That programming lark has moved on a bit.

I remember an old Bridgeport we had. They all hated the Heidenhain controller. I loved it. 😐

I walk past our machine hall every couple of days and always think… “if I had access to those cnc machines… I’d still have no idea what to do with them but it’d be cool to ruin some metal and tools!”

That’s what I started on (Bridgeport+Heidenhain). Didn’t take long to spot the opportunity for making motorbike rearsets and the like…

my old cnc was an interact, with tnc2500. my new one is a haas with good old g code, and in the majority of respects it is much better. there are some canned cycles which can help.

it took a bit of getting used to though, having had heidenhain imprinted on my brain.

Got a room full of 5 axis Deckles here with Powermill software. Need to come up with some bike projects for them.
