    Just wondered what you would all recommend for my mate who is looking to get in to Mountain Biking.

    He is a novice, looking for something to use at Cannock Chase, local trails and roads etc.

    I suspect that the budget is not huge and probably under £700 may be lower but any recommendations of deals around would be appreciated.

    He will not be bothered if it is an old model etc.
