    although i have been trying to play guitar for a fair few years (on and off),i’m still pretty ropey tbh (well very 😉 since getting a new squier cv tele (awesome guitar 😀 i really want to start to try and learn how to improvise (as i am rubbish at it 😳 have just downloaded the justin sandercombe beginning blues improvisation video,to start me off.just wanted to ask the musicians here some easy things to start practising (this dark art 😉 i do know the pentatonic scale (but that’s about it tbh) oh and 3 chords and “the truth” 😉 p.s i can actually play a few tracks,but i really want to be able to improvise,as i feel that is the whole point of playing an instrument (to me anyway).thanks and happy new year by the way 🙂

    Get proper lessons. Nothing will beat that for progressing and learning the right stuff. You need to learn more otherwise improvising inside 3 chords will be a bit limiting.
