I spent yesterday servicing my own forks, getting rid of the frankly pathetic Fox seals and replacing them with more sturdy looking Enduro seals.

It’s the first time i’ve done it, am i right in thinking the new seals will need a bit of bedding in time?

I’ve not tried riding them yet but pumping the forks on the floor, i wouldn’t describe the feeling as stiction they just feel a bit tighter than before, is that going to stay?

Also what effect should i expect from “making and educated guess” of how much fluid to put in?

They do feel tight for a while, but my Talas felt ok after 30-40 hours of riding . Although I don’t like the blue colour they do a good job . Not sure on the guesstimate bit on oil so over to the experts on that one.
