Beans and toast aka The Possil Pizza.
For me -cheese melted over the top and sprinkled with black pepper. You've got to brush the cheese with milk so it blackens it. mmmmm

I remember entertaining a young lady a few years ago and offered to cook her anything she wanted - she chose beans on toast. Hmm, a bit odd, I thought, as did my two laughing housemates. Still, I had the last laugh that night, I can tell you:)

has anyone mentioned.
but butter in the beans while heating them up.they taste completly diferent.they go a cloudy very light orange.i,m sure it,s some kind of crazy chemical reaction and an aquired taste.bit of a marmite kind of thing.Posted 2 years ago # -
MMmmm. I do the butter thing, along with a good dollop of brown sauce. Lovely on nuce fresh white bread.

andor some boiled/drained green lentils mixed in with the beans.
andor some chorizo cooked in the beans.
i will have to try marmite, i've never thought of that...
