    http://www.brandrepublic.com/news/1066247/mailonline-overtakes-huffington-post-become-worlds-no-2

Associated’s MailOnline has overtaken the Huffington Post to become the world’s second largest ‘newspaper’ site, as defined by ComScore….
…But early indications suggest the UK’s MailOnline is set to become the largest English-language newspaper site within the month

The Daily Mailification of the world continues. Soon it wont be safe to ride a bike anywhere!

fortunately Ive found the “blacklist” functionality in google news to restrict items from certain websites.

BTW, dont remember where I saw this, perhaps it was in this forum, but for those on FF:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/kitten-block/

Replaces the angry-making Daily Mail and Daily Express websites with a soothing selection of tea and kittens from http://www.teaandkittens.co.uk.

With the government talking about clamping down on immigration, cyclists, size of the civil service, public sector spending and reducing the “war on the motorist”, it is starting to get difficult to tell the difference between a government proposal and a daily mail rant.

I have the mail app on my phone. It has good pictures and a good sports team. As a socialist I’m still very uncomfortable about it. But it does enable me to feel morally superior and appreciate all the greater that Tories really are ****.

Unless I’m misreading something, this really doesn’t seem very much :

    Mail Online 34,384 34,439 31,210 39,635

And when you consider how many less copies the Guardian sells compared to the Mail, they are surprisingly close behind :

    GUARDIAN.CO.UK 26,589 26,521 25,295 30,891

If only STW could be configured in the same manner, so that I could blacklist links to the mail and tele(can’t believe its not the mail)graph 🙂

i suspect much of the reading /linking is just people going look at what they have said now rather than people actually reading it …well I hope this is the case
