Hi all.

I’m need to change my BB92 press fit bottom bracket as its knackered!

Could anyone tell me if this tool will be ok for pressing the new bearings into the frame. It says it’s for BB30, but as the bushes that will press the bearings have a flat face I can’t see it making any difference…although I may be wrong!

Flat face will be ok but its easier to lineup / use with the correct diameter spigot. You could buy most of this lot from your local bolt and nut / hardware shop for under a £5. If your only pushing plastic into aluminium frame then pretty much anything will be ok. I use a wood drift to knock mine out. If you have a swanky carbon frame I’d but some proper tools.
