With no access to an outdoor tap and no wife to complain I have spent the evening giving my bikes their annual wash in the bath…. about an inch of mud covering the bath… any one else live in a flat and have the same difficulties?

The photos have come out a bit blurry… anyone know how to sort out the autofocus on an eos 300D?

Used to. As long as cleaned the bath afterwards the housemates didn’t complain.
Other options were bucket and sponge or local garage jetwash.

Any photos of it in the shower at a travelodge? Sadly no pics of mine.

I used to do that but was banned by the missus after I put the new bath in

I’ve done that before, makes a hideous amount of mess and I was worried about the plug blocking with all the mud, but at least the bike got it’s annual bath

Crikey, fair play people. I’d give up a couple of bedrooms and a reception room to keep my outside tap!

Ah, the sink has given me a good idea, that’s where I can wash the kids this morning cause the bath is still full of mud

Good effort, Will. Is there an “after” shot of the kitchen? Is there a “Mrs Will” to complain?

I just used to take a bucket and a lock to some railing outside and do it there. Lock the bike between trips inside to fill the bucket…

A hedgehog works well, soft underbelly for the delicate stuff then flip him over and use the spines for the stubborn to shift stuff 😉

Firestarter please tell me you use the full on hose for cleaning your bike. Thats got to be better than a pressure washer!
