Wanted a circular saw and had just been given a Homebase voucher as a birthday present.

15% off everything this weekend and I spotted a Black & Decker at £60 that got pretty good reviews. So, off I toddle with another 15% off voucher (that said nothing about not bring used in conjunction with this weekend’s 15% offer. So I got to the till and argued the toss and they agreed.

Then the manager manually keyed in the additional discount but did it at 30% (can’t have realised that the instore 15% was taken off already).

So – a £60 saw for £36.

Chuffed. 🙂

Treated Mrs Danny to some flowers – got to the till and for some reason a nice bunch of lilies was reduced to 10p down from £3. I thought for that price I would treat her to a second bunch…
