    The Highway Code (section 97) is suitably ambigious:

    Before setting off.
    …clothing and footwear do not prevent you using the controls in the correct manner

    I take that to be aimed at people like my dozy daughter, complaining about how difficult it is to drive in high heels

    It’s also not illegal to ride a motorcycle in nothing but your boxers & a crash hat
