Presently I have Salsa Bend 2 bars and I would like to get a ~10mm rise

Does anyone know if the Salsa’s have any rise? (difficult to tell)

Can’t easily increase rise on a stem change, so what rise amount bars would I need? And, what sort of width would keep hands in about the same position?

    Cheers

Quite confused by the question but could you put a 10mm spacer under your stem?

Stem is up to max on the steerer, using a 70 stem and don’t want to go bizare on a high rise stem

I think it is new bars time then

I’d get a high rise stem, especially if you like the bar shape. It probably looks bizarre already if you’ve got lots of spacers, so can’t see what harm it’d do.

I’ve got lots of spare bars so was going to start there first

what kind of stem would I need to go 10mm up and keep the same reach from a 70×0

Don’t be tempted to go flat because of fashion! It can make riding your bike an uncomfortable experience especially on steep tech and jumps.

Extreme arse up head down is for roadies and XC racers not the rest of us IMO.

    😀 Do it then!

I don’t know, it’s a trigonometry question that I CBA working out. Probably about a 10 degree rise stem.
