Only rode Sunday as I was camping with the family and did a low level route around Conistons Pond https://www.relive.cc/view/1010291188 Untitled by Richard Munro, on Flickr

We were promised sunshine! What we got was mist, clag and then drizzle! Still a good day out on Sat, just not good for pics. Sunday when it was meant to be horrid and I couldn’t then ride, was of course blooming lovely

Oh and I fell into a stream. Which was nice 😉
Somedays you’re the slugger, somedays you’re the ball 😉
No riding Saturday or Sunday as family and work got in the way. Was on standby today so couldn’t plan any big days out, got stood down at 10am so went for a local blast on the bridleways between Castell Coch and Machen.
Weather was decidedly poor with mist and haze mixed in with a fine drizzle in the air. Not enough to get you slightly wet but it collected on the tree leaves and dropped whenever there was a bit of wind. Made the dusty ground very sticky though, so plenty of grip but it also covered the bike in a fine layer of gloopy dust 👿
No pics as it’s a bit of a bind to stop when you’re having fun but a weekends camping in the FoD with an uplift day on saturday and Cheesybeanz showing us some of the offpiste stuff on sunday.
Stirling Bike Club Funduro at Plean here. Hopefully a practice for a bigger event next year that is a kid and family friendly Enduro event. The sun shone, the kids loved it, the parents had a great time. 8) Stirling Funduro by Matt Robinson, on Flickr

The sum total of about 4 minutes riding. Special thanks goes out to the f*cking idiot who decided to do an emergency stop after a blind corner on a high speed section of track for no reason.
Thanks to your total lack of spatial awareness, yet somehow racing an EWS you have buggered up the next 6-8 weeks of summer riding for me. Not to mention it bloody hurts.
Friday was a roasting 75 miles and 7500 feet around the Yorkshire dales on the roadie. That climb to Malham from Settle is a killer, especially if you follow it with that equally hard one around Malham cove !!! 🙁

Then a 32 miles run over and back to Slaidburn using the Salter Fell on the Tripster, for its first proper off road/Gravel/CX run.
