looking at getting the nephew a balance bike for his 1st birthday, now i know this may be a bit early but interested in the early rider spherevelo, has anyone any experiences of this? or do you have any other suggestions for a 1yr old?

    thanks

Heard great things about that recently. Looks very cool.

When our guy was 1 we got him a scramblebug – took him a while to get in to it but he loved it and still razzes round the house on it at 2 1/4. Quite cheap and worth a look.

I believe DeadlyDarcy’s little chap* had/has one. Certainly looked good.

Little Miss CFH was on to a Spesh Hotwalk straight off and she loves it! I’ve already taught her that red bikes are faster, and she’s dropping it kerbs now. She’s 2!

    *No, not that one.

I have no first hand experience of the Spherevelo, but it seems expensive for a push along ride-on, and when you take the stabilisers off it looks like you’ve got a very small balance bike with no height adjustment.
I would save your money for a proper balance bike when he’s a wee bit older.
