Had a bakers cyst for a few years(weird lump on the front/side, pain behind) but no real problems until this summer. starting to hurt allot from days on my feet and long driving(esp on the clutch). Cycling seems ok atm. Doc said ignore it a couple of years back.
Anyone got rid of the problem successfully? Im off to the docs when I get a chance.

Bosses husband was rushed to hospital and treated for a DVT, turns out it was a Bakers Cyst. Think they just drained it, he was back cycling in a couple of days

pardon my dodgy memory but aren't bakers cysts found in the popliteal region posterior to (behind) the knee joint.?

    Hi,

I am a physical therapist. PT can be helpful in reducing these cysts. Basically it's about reducing the fluid that fills the posterior knee. PT can help via modalities and massage.

To learn more visit: Bakers Cyst

    Good luck.
