Bike #2 - My sister supplied this pic of me a couple of years ago when she found another of father's photo collections in the loft. I think my father saved quite hard for this one - was a birthday gift in 1977/8. I think it was either 6/7 speed. It got ridden on local streets, dirt and building sites. I loved it.
The garden could do with a tidy Dad!

Yodagoat that is possibly the best bike ive ever seen, drum brakes!, rear shock! And for an eight year old!
I had something called a street wolf with all that black plastic stealth bodywork, then a rad rat with those plastic disks that covered the wheels! Need to dig out some photosPosted 5 months ago # -
spot the katz in this thread?
Posted 5 months ago # -
Aye, its ace! My Dad bought it for me from Better Bikes, a motorcycle shop that used to be in Edinburgh. I still have it, thinking about hanging it from a wall in the house as an ornament. Did your stret wolf have one of those crazy sound effect boxes on it?

Marin County, Cali1982. My buddy and I rode a "century," a 100-mile road ride on MTBs. I'm on the right with my 1981 Ritchey, my friend Mark on the left. He is riding one of the most collectible bikes of the 20th Century, my "Breezer #2," built in 1978, which now resides in the MTB Hall of Fame in Colorado.

What did we do before there was nostalgia............
Here I am with 'Smelly Melly' riding Tim Woodcock's Coast to Coast in 1994.
No Sustrans route then, no suspension forks, no SPDs, no Camelbacks and no cares. Just big rucksacks, rough camping and a lot of fun. Oh, and some beer.
