His first one and isn’t settling. Keeps nearly getting to sleep then crying again.

Mrs Danny is on a night shift and I’ve only got half a can of beer left.

Gonna be a long long night. Will have to see what whiskies I tucked away otherwise I’ll never make it through…

bad times..

Tilt the wee fella so that his head is slightly higher than his feet.. we used to put a couple of books under the feet of the cot at the head end.. just to raise it a couple of inches

It’s what the hospitals always seem to do..

Don’t tilt it too much though or you will be picking up an angry crumpled up ball of rage from the foot of the cot IME

Piriton and calpol double drop?

I could give that a try yunki but even at the best of times he doesn’t stay in one position for more than 5 minutes even on a good night.

He is more than capable of getting himself into an angry crumpled ball of rage at the foot of the cot without any outside assistance also!

Found some Laphroig Triple Wood so things are looking up!

Calpol the drug of choice ,knock him out with it!!

You can get baby vicks, i think it’s called snuffle bum or something. There is no harm in giving them right up to the recommend daily dose of Calpol, just don’t go over in any 24hr period.
Tilting the bed never worked for our second one – similar ball of snotty rage issues.

He’s asleep now and the Laphroig Triple Wood is really hitting the spot!!

He’s Calpol’d and Baby-Vickes’d to oblivion!

Mrs Danny is a nurse so had plenty of lectures on dosages!
