Um, can I just point out that you and you wife aren’t definitely actually having anything, you might be though (it’s why it’s generally not a good idea to find out the sex in advance). The bodies QA/QC process is very rigorous indeed.

For similar reasons it’s a little premature to choose a name before the big day.

You’ll just have to trust me here.

But no harm in thinking ahead.

(By the way, if you’re saying what I think you’re saying, my heart goes out to you and yours)

Trying to be different for difference sake doesnt work.

It only works if the parents ARE different and the child is developed/picks up their personality.

Borin parents trying to be different leads to a bullied ‘interstingly named’child.

Stick to standard names IMO and give child a crazy middle name.

    Pieface yes.

My two are Polly and Elsa.

But Elsa was nicknamed Beans even before she was born as there wasn’t a single moment in the 9 months my wife carried her that she wasn’t trampolining or something in mum’s tummy. Hence Jumping Beans, full of Beans, baby Beans, she was and always will be Beans.

Hence Polly also became Polly Peas, and the two together are Peas and Beans.

    baby girls names?

What about Womens names. After all, she’ll be one longer than a baby/girl. 😉

We called our daughter Jessica. Generally it’s to Jessie, Jessie-Rose, Jess or Dove (as the purest white dove landed on the car just as we were leaving for the hospital the morning she arrived) 🙂
