Your'e young aren't you? You really should think of your actions/words before you post on here. Maybe you need to do a Thinking Skills Programme, your local prison will probably do one.
Excellent photo's BTW.

I think that's an electron 'microscope' scan - it has far too much depth of field to be optical! So, no lenses, the subject has to be plated with metal and any colour is false...

very educational!
PS brilliant pic, however obtained

Using a Scanning Electron Microscope, retired scientific photographer Steve Gschmeissner, 61, from Bedford, is able to magnify insects by up to a million times.

*Meanwhile, Dez wishes he'd never bothered*
I thought they were fantastic photos! Especially liked the caterpillars's boogley eyes.

Who cares how it was taken, its a striking image.

PErsonally I find the SEM almost as interesting as the subject. We recently binned one at work, if I'd had the ability to order in the gases and a room to put it in I'd have taken it myself!

people who like taking pictures ? And it does make a difference, as the subject is necessarily dead as the scan is performed under vacuum, and any colour is an afterthought
