    Hi can anyone help.

I have just bled my Avid Juicy 3 front disc brake using the correct bleed kit. I have also replaced the brake pads using new Superstar sintered ones.
I bled the brake twice replacing all the old dirty fuild and making sure all the air bubbles have been removed. The brake feel firm to use but when i ride the bike the pads done grip the disc firmly and the disc still rotates throught the pads therefore not stopping me.
Why is this happening have i done something wrong?

Any help would be great thanks

Look for leaks between the seal and piston when depressing the brake

    1. (most likely) The pads aren’t bed in yet so the power will suck until you’ve done 30-40 hard stops.
    2. You’ve contaminated the pads or disc with brake fluid or other.

Probably contaminated pads by the sounds of it.
