    Does anyone know whether there are any compatibility issues with the BB7S Road and Ultegra levers?

    worked fine for me with the usual warning that you’ll get back a lot back in performance for effort made on the choice and fitting of outers

    New levers have 20% more pull iirc.

    Doubt it’ll matter.

    There’s a cam action I think on x700 series levers, so to get max braking force you need to run the lever with plenty of movement so they get close to the bar when the pad squeezes the disc.
