Was changing the pads in my rear bb7 the other day and it looks like the outside piston has come adrift from the mechanism that winds the pad in a out. I can't seem to press it back in, and now the adjuster thing dosn't seem to move!
Do I have to strip the caliper down to put it back together? or is there a clever way
It also seem like the bolts holding the caliper together are torx type, but have a pin in the middle of the, so the torx key would need to have a hole in the centre of it.. if that makes sense…!

I've done that, can't remember how I sorted it, but I didn't need to take the caliper apart. I'll have a think and call you later (probably easier if I'm looking at it while I try and explain)

That sounds like a tamper proof Torx bolt, which is a bit daft IMO

it's threaded somehow – I've done it too & fixed it just by holding it in & turning the adjuster (mine wasn't jammed though)

DOn't think it's the same as the inner one, though the principle seemed to work OK for me
