I have used the 7s a few times and find them very good, is there much disadvantage in going for the five with only the one adjuster?

I use BB7s and dont see the point in using BB5s as they dont cost much more and the 7s are better made and give better power and feel(only what i've read) and you see 7s on rigs costing 1000s so they cant be bad,they give me all the braking power i need,need adjusting a bit more but then they dont need to be bled…

not a great deal of difference (power).
look a little more bulky but the main diff being the outboard adjustment.
and they use different pads.

go for the bb7's.

I'd go for the 7 as it uses the same pad as the juicy so spares will be easier to find.

The one BB5 pad also has a habit of not sitting parallel with the rotor which can make set up a pain. The corner of the pad either rubs all the time or you have to set the brake up badly….
