Been paying attention to the health app over the last few weeks, my daily average is 10000. What is everyone else getting?

My average activity time, according to Google Fit on my phone, is 1 hour 20 minutes. It doesn’t give average steps.

That’s how far I ride to/from work. I walked it for a couple of weeks in the autumn, post-snip, got through lots of podcasts and lost to much weight.

Dunno, I walk 6 miles most days. Not sure how many steps that is.

Only 8k a day on average – office job, I’ve taken to taking a walk lunchtimes to get up to 10-11k.

Had a FitBit-off with my mates in work on Weds – I won with just over 23k steps, I won by less than 100 steps!

number of steps says nothing though – how briskly where you walking those steps, etc.

If you can’t avoid those steps then OK but for fitness it would be better to spend less time doing those steps and spend that time going for a run or riding the turbo.

5,000 daily average over past year. 2,500 in last month which is not enough IMO (driving everywhere but am trying to take stairs not lift) and some days as low as 500. Not riding much at all either, not healthy.

Loking back peak for 12 months was 19,000

Between 3,000 and 15,000, depending on what work I’m doing.
Steps is a pretty useless way of measuring things, unless you spend all your non-walking life sat on your bum.

10-12k in the week, usually drops off at the weekend a bit. Been using pebble/Google fit. Great to see sleep/activity over time though I do have a weakness for graphs and stats!

No idea at the moment but some good totals here. I think my basic life was around 3000. But that wasn’t including a walk and i walk alot more now. I might see if my phone will track it
