Yes it does. She is 16 and the law no longer concerns itself with her sex life.

However if I knew of someone 25 years old having sex with a 16 year old I'd be pretty sickened and I think lots of people would.

I think it is. If I were the parent of a 16 year old girl, I'd view a 25 year old boyfriend in a very dim light.
