Replace your pollen filter?

pollen filter + 1.

Be very careful when refitting the cover as if not 100% right then will let water in and you’ll be back to wet dog smells 🙂

You can buy an aircon “bomb” (sometimes called aircon sanitiser) which is an aerosol you let off in the car while the A/C is running in recirculate mode and kills off the bacteria (in the pipes, filter, etc) that cause the musty smell. It tends to develop if people leave the A/C off for long periods.

Only costs about £10, available at most places that sell car stuff.

As above, or stick the air-con on re-circ then spray as much febreze in as you can, leave it for a few mins & repeat.
Probably not as long-term as the ‘proper’ version.

Its the bacteria in the cooling coil of the a/c caused from skin and dirt particles getting damp and rotting…….. 😯

thanks for the advise,stuck in a new pollen filter,and bombed it too for good measure,smells like a brothel now!!

Worries me that you know what a brothel smells like. 🙄
