My CX bike has 35mm Schwalbe Rapid Rob tyres.

I know nothing about CX so will these be any good for racing or should I change to something like the Mud 2’s which seem to be a popular choice?

    Thanks.

Try them. They may work for you. Suitable tyres very person to person as riding style can make a difference.

I would try them. I know a lot of people who like Schwable tyres for racing. People are very conservative and Mud2s are seen as THE thing to have but they’re not actually *that* brilliant.

They look a good tyre and a cool name!

Never heard of them but I use racing ralphs on my cx bike and like them a lot.

Cheers, will use them for at least the 1st race and if I do poorly I’ll just blame the tyres!

It’s always worth having something to blame when you are getting lapped by Paul Oldham…. 🙂

If I had tubs, I’d be as quick as him… 😉

they are the original racing ralph design – now being used as oem under a new name.
