33-17 29" wheels.
39-16 700c wheels.
30-10 20" wheels.

TBH I think it's rather funny that people think there's an image that goes with it or it makes you more,well...whatever it makes you.As a kid that's all we had & only the posh kids had geared bikes.Never felt the need to buy a fake beard & wear it either....

one here fully shaven here no sandles and a stupid looking fork but rides like a dream and its my only off rd bike use it as much as possible oh yeah 32-18 here in hilly brizzol

No beard. But I ride with a bmx, an inbred SS wit 2.5" tires for fun and a fixie for commuting.
I've also got a geared mountain bike for proper rides!

suspect it gets fewer new recruits given the reaction of peole but I also suspect those that do will do for the rest of their life.

I've just realised that I've not ridden my geared MTB since July last year
My forthcoming 29er is going to be SS too (and I can't wait to ride in sandals again
).

Ok ok enough torture I confess…… I have only ridden SS cycles for the last 8 years and I’m hooked I carn’t give it up yes I’m a single speed niche haw……there that feels much better. I dont have a beard or sandals but I am some what different

There's so many who have discovered how much going single speed improves their pleasure riding, it's become more mainstream, so it doesn't get mentioned so much.
