Anyone got anything other than the usual suspects “ransomespares” “Spares4appliances” etc when looking for dishwasher parts.

Need a drain pump for my bosch dishwasher as mines burnt out due to a small bit of cinamon stick obstructing it and the brushes look to be part of the moulding rather than replacable type.

Ive found the one i need on both the above and its out of stock 🙁

Ive found 1 used one on ebay but would prefer new.

Wm Crum on the end of George Street in Glasgow. A proper old fashioned shop where the staff know exactly what they are doing.

I walked in on Christmas Eve two years ago with the burnt out element from my oven in a carrier bag.

In the time it took me to walk from the door to the counter, the lady had reached behind to the dizzying array of spares hung on the wall behind her and picked out the exact part I needed even though she could only see the shape of it through the carrier bag.

“Is this what you’re looking for?” – Gobsmacked. Christmas saved.

I’m not sure if they do online too, but they might be worth a call…

    I’ve used espares ok

ime it’s worth doing a while on google as you can often find a deal with old/obscure parts, also worth seeing if another ‘part no’ will fit (has it got a part no etc or even take the measurements and look around)

Yep. It’s like stepping back to the 70’s when you walk in.

I’m thinking of deliberately breaking my washing machine as an excuse to go back in just for the nostalgia. 😉

You can get one direct from the Bosch UK/online store/spares and search by model number.

good shout on the bosch spares – didnt think of that DoH- got an exploded drawing and a parts list

Now i have the part number for the piece rather than just the dishwasher.

Googling the part number reveals they are easily availible.

    nice one

Last time I needed something those spare site weren’t every useful on the descriptions, so I phoned the manufacturer help line.. they were more than useful, & supplied the part cheaper than those site advertised.
