we have a macbook that all the family used but now my wife is going back to school, so we got an iMac for the family so she can have the macbook

so I used migration assistant to setup the new iMac and now want to make the macbook hers by erasing everyone else’s accounts etc, so should I wipe the macbook and then somehow get her account back onto it or just delete the other accounts? whats the best way to go about this? I would be happy to remove all traces of everyone else but want all her stuff to be safe as she already has a lot of school work on there

    thanks in advance

Just delete the other user accounts

Will it delete everything? Or just the names when you turn it on?

I think you’ll get the option to delete the folders/files specific to that account.
