More specifically, 25mm road tyres with tubes.

I usually run 25mm tyres at 90psi on my road bike and I know the iron cross rims max pressure is about 45. But is this only for tubeless application?

Run ’em as high as the tyre likes with inner tubes.
I’ve got 32mm tyres upto 80 odd psi and haven’t died once

The stated pressure on the rim is for tubeless. Stabs advised me not to go above 80psi with 28s.

Running 32mm touring tyres on mine around 80 to 90. Am a tad nervous at going higher.

cheers for the confirmation fellas, glad to hear no one has died as a result 🙂

the tyres were a bugger to get on them though, could do with new thumbs after that!
