I’m coming from a Garmin and I can’t seem to find the screen which simply shows the direction to head in order to follow a route or locate a geocache

I must be missing something obivous!

you are – read the manual?

mines discharged atm and I haven’t ridden for 9 months, but I think it is just the bottom right button – toggle round ’til you find the routes menu and then select the route you want to follow.
