Half price on Commencal, I’m considering one for my V4, but can’t find much info. Any experience here?

I use a VIP’R 1 and it’s been great, really worth getting it tuned to match your bike and you on purchase. Once installed and you’ve got it set as you like it – it is truly a fit and forget item. Performance is truly excellent too. Initial movement is good, sits pretty high in its travel, is well controlled and doesn’t blow through travel. For me it feels bottomless.

Good friend of mine who is massively picky has the VIP’R 2 on his bike. Ridden it a few times and it feels great as well – can’t tell the difference back to back TBH. He is also really satisfied.

I am that pleased that I’m picking up a Bos Kirk for my new bike.

That is good to hear thanks, sounds like a bargain then!

Another massive BOS Vip’r 1 fan here. Pretty much everything jamj1974 said. Its very composed through the rough stuff and very well controlled at the end of the travel, quite rare to get a harsh bottom out. Spend some time getting the set up correct at the start and then just forget it.
