I got one just before Christmas not used it much yet though.

It’s a nice size and weight compared to my mates Hero 2 and the batter life is supposed to be better as well.

What do you want to know? it will do 1080p @ 60 FPS or 720p @ 120 FPS and you can search YouTube to get an idea of quality (it will look better on your PC as YouTube reduces the quality slightly)

Just want to know pros & cons of owning one really.

Easy enough to download footage onto laptop / YouTube?

    Reliability?

Easy to get onto PC, just plug in via USB or put SD card straight into PC. Seems reliable so far. The WIFI combined with iPhone is a massive step forward over a Hero 2. Just been using ours snowboarding and you can watch the footage you just made on the lift.
One minor thing is our Hero2 could be plugged into the USB of a Samsung Smart TV and it would appear instantly as a drive, youe could then browse the clips and watch them. The Hero 3+ doesn’t seem to want to do this, not had chance to look into it yet though.

Got ours via Quidco and CRC when CRC had 10% sale on, best price at the time.

Gopro have free software for editing and converting. If your doing 1080p it might be slow to convert if your PC is past it’s best.

Wifi to phone is good for framing the shots and quick review to see how it looks before you waste a full day filming the sky or ground haha

Good quality footage and practically indestructible. If you want to record rides go for it.
