Advertising a car on autotrader at the minute and had a text from this lot offering near asking. I’d def take their offer but anyone dealt with them? Seems to good to be true so I’m naturally sceptical!!

Why are they pretending to be anything to do with the real AutoTrader? Why are they using the AutoTrader logo and an anonymous PO box address?

Dodgy as ****. I had this previously, works on people who have been trying to sell for a while or are desperate to sell. The idea is you think ‘well its only X amount extra’.

Not followed your links, but when my OH tried to sell her Ka on Autotrader, all she had was messages from people saying ‘we’ve got a buyer lined up, pay us £100 and we’ll put you in contact with then’.

We ignored them all.
