Been a regular prize on the weekly gadget show comp for over a year. Looks good for diy, but HOW MUCH? You can get out Makita kit for that and I know which i'd rather have

Nope, no joke. An extra tool plus a bit of change

Fair enough FunkyMonkey ……. that Makita kit is staggeringly cheap – not sure how they've done it. Maybe they are unloading old stock to concentrate on their new Li-ion kits ?

I reckon the power8workshop is (looks) a nice idea for light DIY stuff.

It's fantastic for diy no doubt, but you can buy pro gear for that money.
I can't see diyers forking out for it, only gadget freaks. Diyers go for green bosch, pro power and that challenge stuff from argos, which would be a third the price max

I know of a couple of businesses using that for basic workshop duty, apparently very good quality too. i suspect it's a bit flexy for "proper" use but good kit, compact etc.

LOL good idea for Gadget Man But anyone brought that on site
    would be laughed off.
Best on site tools are Makita,Festool and a dewalt pull-chop saw

But anyone brought that on site would be laughed off.

I've been slung off a site, but I've never been laughed off a site……..how does that work then ?

    .

💡 does it involve giving a monkeys what other people think ?

Looked to me like it would not be rigid and strong enough for anything reasonable. But it was hard to tell.

I like the in-bog extractor fan idea tho. I think some of the Dragons didn't get it.
