When I first got in to mountain biking Marin were pretty desirable with the slightly mad linkage arrangements but appear to have lost their way in the last 5 years or so.

Saying all that the new Rift Zone looks pretty sorted. I’ve been looking at the Rift Zone 8, to move on from my current 100m 26″ hardtail for fairly average cross country and the odd trip the bike park.

Is anyone riding one, except the tyes the spec looks good. I’m a little concerned at the idea of aluminium flex stays and the slightly mad seat tube angle. Reviews are thin on the ground so is anyoen riding one and what do you think?
