Pretty cheap at the minute and if Planet don’t pull their finger out and get the Uncle John on sale I might just get one at the end of the month.

Concerned about the ALumninium fork but otherwise fits the bill nicely as a CX/Winter road bike/Tourer/Explorer bike.

I have a Cayo and it’s fantastic was hoping that the Mares is similarly well thought out.

Not sure how helpful this is but i’ve got one of the newish AX 2.0’s and I love it. Great spec for the money and it’s able to handle anything I’ve ridden it on, including rooty singletrack, tarmac and steps.
Not sure about the CX 30 but mine hasn’t got rack mounts and only one set of bottles mounts which is a bit annoying.
